Report on Ordinance No. 8

of 1907.

I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled

An Ordinance to amend the Public Health and

Buildings Ordinance, 1903,

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to

the Governor's Instructions.

It is considered expedient to allow full powers of

exemption with the consent of the Governor-in-Council in any

case where the Board considers the provisions of the section

similar to be inapplicable. Full powers of exemption are given in the

proviso to section 154.
